This sale offers some very nice options despite a letdown at the end. Without doubt, Special Forces Gangplank and Oktoberfest Gragas are the recommended skins of this sale. Big Bad Warwick has something to offer but seems to suffer from its simplicity. Let’s give them a closer look.
Special Forces Gangplank successfully manages to turn the Saltwater Scourge into a commando unit. The skin is quite attractive visually but also incorporates new sounds to better round the theme. It’s not a skin without rough edges but the result is certainly attractive. Fans of Gangplank and the army will find much to like in this skin.
Oktoberfest Gragas is decidedly a charming skin that refines his classic concept with a healthy and welcome dose of Bavarian style. The new particles only add consistency but the new recall animation and music are the necessary icing on the cake. Overall, Oktoberfest Gragas is an appealing skin that fans of Gragas shouldn’t miss.
In Big Bad Warwick’s case, it simply becomes a reference to the Big Bad Wolf from Red Riding Hood. The skin is unambiguously straightforward and while effective, at large, it isn’t actually impressive. In general, it accomplishes what it sets to do but, unless the source material is particularly to your liking, you’ll find better options for this werewolf.

Conclusion:
This week we find that Lulu’s whimsies aren’t just useful for polymorphing deadly enemies but also for avoiding a good amount of IP farming. The Fae Sorceress doesn’t just help completing a champion roster but also offers some good yordle looks. On top of that, her release skins haven’t been on sale since last year and Dragon Trainer Lulu may be the next 1350 RP to be discounted; though sales are rather unpredictable. Aspiring Lulu fans will certainly find this sale quite a tempting option.
Galio also offers a respectable dose of IP farming avoidance yet not everyone will find his price so difficult to reach. As far as looks go, he has some nice options but nothing really remarkable. Additionally, Enchanted and Hextech Galio were already on sale this year and the latter also retired. Therefore, if skins are your only concern, there’s no rush.
Finally, Udyr’s sale isn’t of much interest. Not only is his IP price low enough but Spirit Guard Udyr’s sale has already passed by and with it a bundle that also discounted him. Besides, in case you prefer Primal Udyr’s looks be aware that he was included in a special 20% off sale this year, already. He could be discounted again anyway but it wouldn’t take much IP to be ready for such a moment.
