Conclusion:
If a merely average sale could be intentionally organized then this would be one of the possibilities. The skins offered aren’t exactly bad but they don’t have any remarkable qualities either. In general, they are skins that can appeal to fans of the respective champions or if the specific concept seems appealing.
Warmonger Sion aims to turn him into a deadly undead warrior. The sinister look is accomplished with new armour and axe designs as well as a lugubrious physique. Regardless, the armour seems messy and the aspect washed out.
Hextech Singed takes the chemist and wraps him with an evident layer of steampunk style. Still, the design is a bit exaggerated with an emphasis of form over function and a strong reliance on the classic model.
Tundra Hunter Warwick is modest in its changes but explicit about them anyway. That’s because of the eye-catching white fur and subdued armour. The result is appealing but the skin doesn’t go past a re-colour.
In the end, this trio of skins do offer something unique despite their issues. For instance, Warmonger Sion looks more lethal, Hextech Singed adopts an antique style and Tundra Hunter Warwick delivers a distinctly arctic style. There are better options but these skins have their value.

Conclusion:
This weekend doesn’t shine with opportunities to avoid IP farming. In fact, only Skarner seems like a worthwhile purchase to that end. Furthermore, depending on your IP accumulation rate his IP price may not be that difficult to reach. Skarner also has nice skins and a hinted Battlecast in development but a new skin may take a good while to surface. That aside, Earthrune was discounted not long ago but Sandscourge could go on sale in the foreseeable future as it was on sale last November.
A price of 3150 IP is rather reasonable so as to accrue enough IP and reserve RP for skins. In fact, Prestigious LeBlanc and Special Forces Gangplank are two rather good reasons to do so. Unfortunately, the first was discounted in May but the latter should go on sale before too long; though there are others queued before it. Moreover, while there’s ample time to farm for Mistletoe LeBlanc, Spooky Gangplank is another possibility as it was discounted by the end of last year.
