Overview

Guerrilla warfare and natural magic are both very different ways of setting wrongs right. The three guests to this weekend sale have uncompromising views on the subject. Yet, there may be something to be done about it; let’s see.

Conclusion:

For a skin that offers only some model changes Guerilla Tristana has nothing to do at this price point; sale included. The concept is somewhat fitting and the idea behind the execution isn’t bad but it doesn’t come out as something worthwhile. Unless you are a big fan of the concept or a collector there’re better options for Tristana.

While there’re better and cheaper options Runeborn Xerath has its unique aesthetic. The green, natural style provides the skin with an identity but it’s nothing remarkable. Besides, in terms of changes, other skins are more effective. Therefore, if you like this particular style it’s a skin to consider but Xerath has more interesting alternatives.

Although straightforward, Vindicator Vayne has a distinct modern look that sets it apart from other skins. The changes aren’t particularly exciting but it’s acceptable at what it intends. Considering the low price and suitable concept, it’s a nice skin for fans of the Night Hunter.

Champions:

Azir

975 -> 487 RP / 6300 IP
Kog’Maw Nasus
Kog'Maw Splash Art Nasus Splash Art
880 -> 440 RP / 4800 IP 585 -> 292 RP / 1350 IP

Conclusion:

The power of Shurima extends beyond the sands so if you’d like to save a good amount of IP, pay your tribute in RP to Azir. Eating everything in your path is always an alternative yet even if Kog’Maw can also save IP he doesn’t really munch much. Lastly, as Nasus is rather good at farming he doesn’t ask for much IP to hire his services; so, no point in spending RP.

Still fascinated with this new part of his life Azir hasn’t had time to worry about his Galactic trips. He may offer them at a discount sometime in the future. For now, he’s busy rebuilding his empire.

While we wait for the Battlecast robot based on Kog’Maw to receive a discount we can take a look at what he’s been up to. Last February, he merrily fluttered about as a Monarch from the Void, in September he thinned to Jurassic proportions and in July he was as angry as coming from the Deep Sea. So far it’s all reasonable but we forgot to celebrate the one year anniversary or his Lion Dance. Hopefully we won’t have to wait until January 2016 for the second anniversary.

Sometimes Nasus likes to extend his farming to more exotic locations. For instance, last February he exploited his techniques in a Galactic way. In December he tried the sands as well but he’s better suited as a Pharaoh there. All that is left then is to remind ourselves of the year anniversary without seeing the Dreadknight, last February; though he’s bound to return, he should.
