Conclusion:
This sale doesn’t have the most striking skins nor are the themes executed in the best of ways. Still, there may be some interesting things; let’s give them a look.
Dreadknight Garen is a disappointing skin with an unclear design. The idea of a dark warrior in sinister armour is more suggested than implemented. Besides, with the upcoming visual upgrade you will have to take into account the new, bright look as well. Unless you really like the old and new look or are a dedicated Garen fan or collector, this skin may not be able to overcome its flaws.
Explorer Ezreal tries to pay to homage to Indiana Jones but the flat aspect and unconvincing use of elements make it unsatisfactory. In general, it accomplishes, to a point, its objective but it’s hardly an attractive look and doesn’t resist a close inspection. It isn’t the worst it could be but, as it is, it can be a bit of a disappointment.
Djinn Malzahar doesn’t break the spree of letdowns but compensates with its low price. The concept is nice but not much different from Malzahar’s classic appearance. Additionally, the clothing is functional but uninteresting. At least, the re-colour of the Voidlings is an extra that manages to instil some personality into the skin. All in all, it’s a skin that does just enough to fulfil its premise but seeing its low price it could be an interesting alternative to Classic Malzahar.

Conclusion:
Charge and let none escape, they shall fear the Freljord; or so Sejuani would say. Luckily nobody needs to be on the receiving end as besides being a powerful lady she’s also quite helpful in avoiding the IP farm: Sejuani is the best choice to complete a champion roster. As far as skins go, Bear Cavalry is too new to go on sale anytime soon. Moreover, her other skins were already discounted in 2013. Thus, if you don’t need her services expect to face her chilly welcome in the battlefield.
Miss Fortune can also help in avoiding a good amount of IP farming if you don’t gather much regularly. On top of that, she’s an elegant lady that enjoys having a varied wardrobe. Speaking of which, Cowgirl, Road Warrior, Waterloo, Mafia and Secret Agent were on sale this year; though the last two at the beginning. All in all, it could pay off to play it safe but you may find you have enough IP when skins are discounted.
Finally, the Madman of Zaun’s irresistible charms aren’t enough to make purchasing him a good idea. His IP price is quite low so it shouldn’t take much to unlock him that way. In addition to this, both Executioner and Rageborn were already discounted not too long ago. Unless you are desperate to join the ranks of the corporate world with his distinct style, there’s no need to rush.
