Conclusion:
As far as re-models go Subterranean Nautilus is good. The premise of a mech excavator is certianly fantastic but the apperance is rather unique. Unfortunately the skin doesn’t mesh the water particles with hydraulics so the themes conflict. Nonetheless, it’s a different take on a titan.
With a clear and appealing style Shaco brings a nice dose of Korean culture. The odel is interesting and the opening fans a good visual addition. The particles are also effective at delivering the theme. However, the skin suffers when compared to the eye-catching splash art. In the end, it’s a distinct and attractive skin.
Some skins are fine with simplicity and that’s not always a bad thing. Stinger Akali amounts to little more that blonde Akali dressed in yellow. You might see a Kill Bill reference there but, in practice, it’s nothing more than a re-colour. Still, if you like the new tone then it could be the skin for you.
Champions:
| Syndra | |
| Vayne | Blitzcrank |
Conclusion:
The Dark Sovereign reigns supreme even at the IP farm: Syndra is the undisputed best option to avoid farming. Vayne follows close behind, as she usually does when hunting, and while not as good an option she isn’t bad. Blitzcrank stands somewhat in the middle: he can help avoid farming but depends how much help you need with IP. After all, he’s not exactly designed to that end; just ask Viktor.
With regards to skins, Justicar Syndra hasn’t enforced harmony around sales since the end of last year’s July. A return should be imminent but, being sales as they are, there’s no telling when she could make an appearance.
This year Vayne has been busy stealing hearts: she was a Heartseeker on sale during both January and February; on the same days even. It’s all part of the hunt: an Aristocrat in December and a Dragonslayer in November, she goes where prey takes her. Which means that Vindicators might be out of fashion as it’s over a year since it received a discount.
This model of steam golem is quite multifacetic, he’s got no problem going Boom Boom with opponents, as he showed in March, or embracing hi-tech, as he did in February. There even was a special Piltover Customs edition on sale on January. This might mean that it’ll take a good while for additional discounts but you can tell that this is the pinnacle of steam-tech; all thanks to Viktor.
