Conclusion:
Cryocore Brand is an excellent skin that offers an interesting concept reinforced by attractive visuals. Between the detailed containing suit and distinct blue particles the skin certainly stands out. Fans of Brand or ice-themed skins will find much to like.
Lord Darius is a skin that simply fails at delivering a regal look. The armour and axe have a dose of distinction but it gets buried in the uneven inconsistency of the design. In the end, Lord Darius isn’t a very good skin because you might like his cuirass or axe but the rest seems incomplete.
Bilgerat Rumble is a skin that doesn’t try too hard to represent a buccaneer. The result is conservative and heavily based on Rumble’s classic self. The simplicity of the skin works but just that. For the price, it could be an option for fans of the Mechanized Menace but it’s hardly an exciting one.
Champions:
| Fiora | |
| Skarner | Lux |
Conclusion:
Fiora longs for a worthy opponent and farming certainly isn’t one. With her swift strokes she can easily dispatch the whole farm on her own so she’s a great option for avoiding it. A peculiar alternative is to rely on a gigantic scorpion like Skarner. While his pincers aren’t designed to work in the fields they can be quite effective. The last option is to rely on Lux’s abilities. With some luck her magic will be of use or she could scorch the whole area; win-win situation.
In terms of skins, Fiora’s been absent from sales for a while. Her Nightraven outfit hasn’t been offered since October. Besides, her Royal Guard suit was last discounted on August. This last one has a better chance of returning but it could take a while nonetheless; maybe enough for the Headmistress to come and put things in order.
A scorpion of the Earthrune variety was recently on sale so that’s something that Skarner won’t be offering soon. However, the dangerous Sandscourge variety was last seen around sales on October. While it’d be wise to tread carefully around such creatures it seems we won’t be seeing them for some time.
Finally, last February marked the first time that Steel Legion Lux’s services were made more affordable. Of course there’s more than just that coming from a versatile lady like Lux. Her Spellthief skills were on sale during the beginning of December while her Commando tactics were displayed on August. What looks more probable is a return of her Sorceress wisdom last seen on July or her strategic Imperial uniform which has celebrated a year without seeing a sale last April.
