Overview
There’s a peculiarly alchemical sale this week with elements that can be of great use in the right laboratory. If you are up for some experimentation, let’s give the sale a quick look.

Conclusion:
Obsidian Malphite can be considered a refinement with a clearer use of fire. The spiky model is attractive and is further enhanced by the lava lines. Some of the abilities also modify his aspect making the effect more pronounced; which furthers the theme. The fire aspect could’ve been more developed but it’s still a great skin for fans of the Shard of the Monolith.
Frozen Terror Nocture transforms him into a nightmare made of ice. The appearance is somewhat unfocused with little ice and some exaggerations. However, the look is appealing and the particles help cement the theme. All in all, fans of the Eternal Nightmare will find it a nice option for frost-based terror.
Enchanted Galio is only a re-texture but one that catches the eye. The body coursing with magical energy is interesting but the simplicity of the skin fails at getting the most out of the theme. Considering the price, it’s a skin with great potential that may be worthwhile for fans of the Sentinel’s Sorrow despite feeling lacklustre.
Champions:
| Hecarim | |
| Galio | Twisted Fate |
Conclusion:
Hear the march and abandon all farming, Hecarim shall sow terror in the fields and ensure that you save on a good deal of IP. Galio prefers to have a low profile but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t effective either. However, choosing Twisted Fate can be gamble: he could be of help for some but most won’t find his IP price a huge obstacle.
As far as looks go, Arcade Hecarim is still far from reaching a sale. Things don’t look better for the Blood Knight due to his October apparition. Still, as we approach September the presence of a Reaper becomes more probable; though, fans of the Shadow of War will have to be patient.
Galio has also been away from sales for a while. With Commando appearing at the end of August there’s some time before a discount comes. Fortunately, the presence of Enchanted Galio on this same sale means that there’s something for the time being; despite his skins tending to feel lacking.
With Twisted Fate we always have to take our bets. He’s recently been gambling as a Musketeer, by the end of March, but he’s also been seen around before that. He disguised himself as a Jack of Hearts on February and also danced Tango on January; all in the name of a good game. From the look of things, we won’t be seeing him soon. Hopefully, he’ll recover by next Harrowing before the Underworld takes him again.
