Period: 16th to 19th of October, 2015
Skins: Headhunter Caitlyn, Junkyard Trundle and Lumberjack Sion
Champions: Rek’Sai, Renekton and Morgana
Hunting in the jungle, surviving in the wasteland and chopping like a zombie are the offers that appear this weekend. There’s potential to be impressed with the new wonders of technology so let’s not waste any time.
Embracing the hunt from a sci-fi point of view Headhunter Caitlyn is a skin that goes the extra step to be special. There is an attractive and well realised model that presents the theme quite well with the help of eye-catching particles and well rounded sounds. The new animations for her futuristic rifle set the skin apart by further developing the concept and the skin’s identity. For fans of the Sheriff and sci-fi skins this is one of the best choices available.
While Junkyard Trundle can fit in a dump the appearance is closer to a wasteland mutant from a post-apocalyptic future. In that regard, it fills the bill adequately with suitable makeshift gear and club. The ice magic wielded makes no sense at all despite Pillar of Ice being nicely adapted. In the end, it’s a good skin that doesn’t work as well as it could but that has something interesting to offer.
Mixing wood and mechanical prosthetics Lumberjack Sion catches the eye but mostly due to the eclectic combination of elements. The rough lumberman look is accomplished but in an uneven way that seems to be at odds with itself. Considering the price it’s not a bad skin but if what interests you the most is the cyborg angle then Hextech is a better option when it leaves the Legacy Vault.
With the Void on your side there’s nothing that can oppose you. A mere IP price won’t stand in the way of Rek’Sai and certainly not in your way if you have enough RP.
Renekton isn’t one to stop before obstacles either. When something stands in his way he cuts it first and moves on to the next later so better have a good amount of RP ready if you meet him; if you lack the IP.
Lastly, with the success of her bakery, Sinful Succulence, Morgana doesn’t worry too much about fees. If you need the help of this lady then you won’t need much IP to convince her and she’ll even share some biscuits with you; she really like her job.
It hasn’t been long since Rek’Sai arrived in our world and she’s already leaving her mark on the business side of things. After all, even if it’s too early for the Eternum to share their wisdom they eventually will; long have they waited for that. Once that’s settled we’ll surely see Rek’Sai having a blast at a Pool Party. It can’t be said that she’s having trouble fitting in.
When it comes to blades Renekton likes variety. Just look at that Prehistoric wonder he’s recently acquired. Hopefully he’ll discount it on the market soon as it’s perfect for butchering the way it’s meant to be. That’s not to say that the Butcher’s market has been devoid of sales; lest he mishears. This June the Scorched Earth blade branded the land with its flames and February saw his Outback blade return to us; as would be expected. We are still awaiting his Bloodfury blade or a potential Pool Party which haven’t been around since 2014; December and September, respectively. We are confident that Renekton won’t disappoint: lack of good sales gets on his nerves and that’s never a good thing.
Busy with Sinful Succulence Morgana finds little time to attend the market. From time to time she can leave the oven on its own for a bit and sneak a few discounts here and there. That’s how April received her delicate Ghost Bride dress and February her enchanting Blackthorn gown. We still haven’t had the pleasure to see her Blade Mistress frock since December but we’ll have to be patient. As always Morgana never forgets to bring some biscuits so that helps sweeten the anticipation.
