While some prefer to retire to a pool party there are others that prefer not to interrupt their training. In the pursuit of mastery of weapons or the arcane there’s no time to rest. So, without interrupting anyone, let’s see what we have this week.

Conclusion:

Armed to the teeth, so to speak, could be an apt description of Nemesis Jax. While the warrior idea is clear the mute colours and stylized elements conspire against the aspect. Still, it’s quite a nice option for Jax; just don’t expect what the splash art promises.

Being a funny skin, Pool Party Graves works but hardly impresses. The idea is nothing out of the ordinary but is consistently executed. For fans of Graves looking for something different it’s an option yet its price means that a sale is the best moment to get it.

Advanced technology fuelled by an unlimited supply of energy is what Battlecast Xerath proposes. The new model is rather brief but the re-coloured particles complement and enhance the appearance of the skin a good deal. This results in a skin that is quite appealing and also cheap; so, Ascendant fans don’t miss it.

Champions:

Varus

Vladimir Karma

880 -> 440 RP / 4800 IP 790 -> 395 RP / 3150 IP

Conclusion:

Breathe, aim, and release the string. Let the arrow fly to its destination and do your bidding. If it’s avoiding farming IP then Varus is your best option. A more visceral alternative is Vladimir, not as effective, but with a lot going on under the skin. The remaining possibility is to instead relax with the expert guidance of Karma. However, her reasonable IP price means that there won’t be much avoidance.

In August we received Varus’ triumphant visit in full Arclight glory. It’s quite a change from his Blight Crystal; which he displayed in November. This sounds like a possible return as the year draws to a close. At least, it’ll be a while before he embarks on any Arctic Ops.

Good clothing is essential for an aristocrat and especially for a Count. When Vladimir came around in June his dark clothes were carefully chosen. The same should but hardly can be said about his Vandal friends; what happened in February is a good example. Who could really say what ideas cross the mind of a Marquis? Everything was fine in October and a few months afterwards that happens. Maybe he got bored and decided a change was necessary.

Spiritualism is present in every civilization so whether as an Ionian or a Sun Goddess Karma provides the necessary guidance; as she did in May. In her case, it’s not the form but the message that is important. Thus, dressing in Sakura style is no problem, even in November, when peace of mind is at stake.
