Overview
Flaming tails, justice on wings and magical light are what this week’s sale receives. They are all quite interesting options so let’s give them a quick look.
Skins:
Conclusion:
Flames all around Ahri make for a nice spectacle and in terms of visuals Foxfire Ahri certainly catches the eye. The problem is that there’s some inconsistency as some classic particles remain. Ultimately, it’s a great option for fans of Ahri and fiery splendour.
Redemption is a difficult path but one that is usually necessary. Justicar Aatrox seems to have followed it and the result is certainly appealing. As a skin that reinterprets the Darkin Blade, even if it’s imperfect, it’s a great skin well worth considering.
Modesty, even of the technical kind, is no impediment for a skin to shine. Sorceress Lux accomplishes a charming look while also asking for a low price. This makes the simple concept attractive and a fantastic option for fans of Lux.
Champions:
Rengar | |
Skarner | Jax |
Conclusion:
If you want to avoid farming IP then Rengar’s stealthy approach is your best course of action. An alternative is to rely on Skarner but his pincers aren’t as subtle. With that said, let’s not even mention Jax: he’s surely effective but rather blunt. Fortunately, he doesn’t ask for much IP to join your cause.
Moving on to other affairs, we see that Rengar hasn’t taken on a sale Headhunt since July, 2013. If we add how recent his Night Hunter activities are we find that he’s been away too long. Sales should be welcoming Rengar soon but there’s no telling when.
There are many types of scorpions and Skarner is a most peculiar case. He has the strange ability to change his aspect. We’ve witnessed him this April as he became an Earthrune. Strangely, he hasn’t turned into a Sandscourge since last October but it should be a matter of time.
Finally, Jax pummels with whatever he has on hand. It’s weird then to find that he hasn’t dropped by since last January; when he came like a Vandal. Fortunately, he’s known to be more civilized as in December he arrived from the Temple. It was probably necessary as on September he called himself Jaximus and on August he preferred to be a Nemesis. It seems like the time is coming for him to repeat this behaviour and it is high time he does so.
