League of Legends: Dr. Mundo Skins’ Review – StrategyZero
Feb 052013

Dr. Mundo the Madman of Zaun
Dr. Mundo, the Madman of Zaun

Dr. Mundo, the Madman of Zaun hardly has the traditional intellectual look expected from a scientist. Regardless, experiments are what have made him this way and he would surely say this is the way he pleases. Therefore, if you want to look good where you please take a look at his skins’ review; before Mundo reviews himself.

Toxic Dr. Mundo
Toxic Dr. Mundo Splash Art Toxic Dr. Mundo Model
Category: Legacy
Price: 520 RP
Concept: Dr. Mundo with green skins.
Model: New textures for Dr. Mundo and his cleaver.
Particles: No new particles.
Animations: No new animations.
Sounds: No new sounds.
Splash Art: Moving towards a more realistic comic book style and leaving the cartoony look that identifies Mundo wherever he goes this piece has a darker take on the doctor. The background is actually rather barebones even if gloomy. The sketchy city joins an empty night sky that surrounds what could be interpreted as the gates of a graveyard; with creepy, twisted tree along ravens too. There, inexplicably, Mundo sits in a set of blocks that approximate a seat but are probably somebody’s vault. The quality drmatically increases though that’s not saying much in comparison; as the poor cat attests.
Dr. Mundo’s portrayal employs thick colours that give him a waxy appearance. The colours are rather good with regards to shadows but the lines can be imprecise as the remaining of his shoewear show. The cleaver looks aptly rustic with slight signs of blood. It makes quite a contrast with the draft that passes for a handle. The bulky, simian appearance of Mundo makes sense in the chosen style but is a stark departure from the actual three-dimensional aspect which makes the depiction questionable as a spotlight.
All added together, this is a splash art that puts style before faithfulness to the source material and is quite uneven at that too. It manages to indicate what the skin is about but it does so in too much song and dance.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: Toxic Dr. Mundo is as simple as it can be: same doctor but with green skin. The clothes and cleaver are also re-textured but there’s no big difference. The core is the green skin and also all that is really offered. Unless you really like the new colour, Toxic Dr. Mundo is a skin that isn’t very interesting.

Mr. Mundoverse
Mr. Mundoverse Splash Art Mr. Mundoverse Model
Category: Legacy
Price: 520 RP
Concept: Dr. Mundo dressed for a session at the gym.
Model: Minor model changes for Dr. Mundo and new textures for his cleaver.
Particles: No new particles.
Animations: No new animations.
Sounds: No new sounds.
Splash Art: A plain and modest room is the place for Gym Mundo where Dr. Mundo trains to become Mr. Universe. All in all, there’s more in the imagination that in the background: it’s all rather empty and simple. This stands in contrast to Mundo’s portrayal which has bright colours and detailed precision; except for the fact that Mundo has only three toes per foot and that darker areas are diffuse. Still, despite the exaggerations proper of the style Mundo looks good. Therefore, this is a piece with a disappointing background that serves as a good portrait.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: Mr. Mundoverse has a suitable concept for this muscular doctor but with an execution that doesn’t fully realize it. There’s just a few clothes added but while they are fitting they clash with the multiple remnants of Classic Dr. Mundo. A pair of snickers and maybe dumbbells would have helped further the concept. Regardless, as it is, it suggests its concept instead of implementing it so it feels quite lacklustre.

Corporate Mundo
Corporate Mundo Splash Art Corporate Mundo Model
Category: Legendary
Price: 1820 RP
Concept: Dr. Mundo as a business manager.
Model: Moderate model changes for Dr. Mundo and new model for his cleaver.
Particles: New particles for Infected Cleaver, Burning Agony and Sadism.
Animations: New animation when standing idle, walking and for his laugh.
Sounds: New quotes for Infected Cleaver and Sadism plus new voice-over.
Splash Art: The background does a respectable work at depicting a manager’s office: there’s a messy file cabinet, an equally untidy trash can, a surprisingly ordered desk and an antique mini-bar. Still, there’s quite some space solely filled with simple colours plus the bustling city is hardly discernible through the window. Dr. Mundo also suffers from mixed quality: the legs seem to dissolve in the desk but the upper body is sharply outlined and clearly shaded. On the whole, it’s an acceptable splash art that could be better but still does a reasonable job.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: Corporate Mundo is an obvious joke skin but despite its seemingly forced premise it manages to stay funny; to an extent. The model is nothing surprising yet correct. It could be said that the look is a bit too casual and a bit too Elvis-like but it works. The paper trail used when throwing his case is a good touch but it seems as if the skin could do more but stayed at just enough. That’s emphasised by the subtle additions in Sadism and the even subtler touch to Burning Agony. Additionally, the funny quotes double as references so they don’t become tedious as fast as a simple joke would do. In general, Corporate Mundo implements its concept rather well and, jokes aside, displays management with a healthy dose of sarcasm. It’s still not as groundbreaking as a legendary skin should be but remains a good choice.

Mundo Mundo
Mundo Mundo Splash Art Mundo Mundo Model
Category: Legacy
Price: 975 RP
Concept: Dr. Mundo wearing a costume of himself.
Model: Moderate model changes for Dr. Mundo and new model for his cleaver.
Particles: No new particles.
Animations: No new animations.
Sounds: New sound for Infected Cleaver.
Splash Art: The background is diffuse, dark and feels empty in some places. However, the clothes hanger display is filled with champion references and adds much needed depth to the picture; like the peeking Shaco on the right. Dr. Mundo in front of a mirror is an interesting idea to show his front and back alike; though the front is largely occluded. The depiction is alright but the lower body looks blurry just like Mundo’s reflection. Overall, it’s not a bad piece but the idea of Mundo surrounded by champion’s costumes is better than the final result.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: Mundo Mundo is a skin with a concept that seems clever but that in practice isn’t as funny or interesting as it appeared. In fact, the look is simply too similar to Classic Dr. Mundo and, while intended, it just doesn’t add much. In the end, the idea is executed but it’s hardly attractive. In conclusion, Mundo Mundo is a skin that looks better on paper and that doesn’t provide enough for its price.

Executioner Mundo
Executioner Mundo Splash Art Executioner Mundo Model
Category: Legacy
Price: 520 RP
Concept: Dr. Mundo dressed as an executioner.
Model: Moderate model changes for Dr. Mundo and new model for his cleaver.
Particles: No new particles.
Animations: No new animations.
Sounds: No new sounds.
Splash Art: The background is a disappointing mud of colours that barely hint at an execution ground. Truth be told, the wooden structures as well as the sky seem to have been painted with the same colour so the difference is simply tone. Fortunately, Dr. Mundo’s depiction is appropriately more colourful: the lines are correct and the shading quite good. In fact, the banding of colours actually strengthens the visceral nature of his role. To sum up, a terrible background backs a great portrayal thus making for an interesting but flawed splash art.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: Executioner Mundo is a rather straightforward skin that dresses the mad doctor in some fancy clothes and gives him a double bladed axe; even though a single bladed axe would been better suited. The result is a definitely stylized but appealing executioner’s look. Fortunately, Dr. Mundo is quite a good fit for this concept and so the communion of elements works very well. Regardless, the skin doesn’t do much to develop the theme, just clothes and an axe, but it’s effective enough to communicate the idea clearly. In the end, Executioner Mundo is a nice skin but could’ve been much better with more work. Nonetheless, at its price and considering how well Mundo adapts to the executioner role it’s certainly a great choice for Mundo fans.

Rageborn Mundo
Rageborn Mundo Splash Art Rageborn Mundo Model
Category: Regular
Price: 975 RP
Concept: Dr. Mundo as an orc warrior.
Model: New model for Dr. Mundo and his cleaver.
Particles: No new particles.
Animations: New walking and standing idle animations.
Sounds: No new sounds.
Splash Art: The background shows the barren land that surrounds a castle; which provides a setting but still leaves the piece feeling empty. Dr. Mundo appears on the right, with a dynamic pose, as he throws his axe. The stance certainly catches the eye but it also conceals most of Mundo’s body so that only a fraction can be seen. What is depicted does look good. Besides, the shading is great: the texture of the metal or the skin is detailed and believable. Regardless, it’s a splash art that draws attention to the subject but doesn’t display him in the best of ways. Not a bad piece but not as useful as it should be.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: Rageborn Mundo is a very interesting skin as its concept represents something alien but fitting in the League of Legends: an orc warrior. The model shows a lot of polish with great textures that make both metal and skin look fantastic. The axe is also sensibly proportioned so that it can be easily thrown yet remain useful in close quarters. Unfortunately, the skin doesn’t do much else to further the theme. The animations added are different but only marginally from the classic ones. Therefore, Rageborn Mundo is a skin that looks good and seems destined for excellence but doesn’t do enough to actually reach it.

TPA Mundo
TPA Mundo Splash Art TPA Mundo Model
Category: Legacy
Price: 750 RP
Concept: Mundo as a triumphant e-sports player.
Model: New model for Dr. Mundo and his cleaver.
Particles: No new particles.
Animations: No new animations.
Sounds: New sounds for his auto-attack and Infected Cleaver.
Splash Art: The background suggests a big arena where the audience clamours for the champions. At least the lights of such incredible place are visible because the rest is just the imagination working. The champions are clearly portrayed though, but their simultaneous exposition makes them compete for attention.
Regardless, they manage to convey a bit of their personality in the depiction: Mundo is brutal and towering, Orianna vaguely humane, Ezreal overconfident, Shen sneaky while Nunu and Willump display their close teamwork. In parts they seem to be escaping from the diffuse maws of the background but the portrayals are correct anyway.
All in all, it’s a nice splash art that displays a team of champions celebrating the fruit of their labour. While it’s unclear in certain parts each champion has its place. Nevertheless, it’s a piece that seems better suited for a presentation of the full set of TPA champions than to be used in individual spotlights.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: The first impression that TPA Mundo gives is that of an uninspired and simple concept. At large, it’s just Mundo in casual clothes with a cup instead of a cleaver. The healthy dose of Mundo brutality in the gamer world is suggested but without a new proper voice-over it stays as just that. At least, what the skin lacks in originality it makes up for with consistency: when hitting someone with the cup the sound is appropriately hollow and metallic. Regardless, it’s not a look that seems special despite not being bad at all. TPA Mundo isn’t a awful choice but it’s potential isn’t exploited much.

Pool Party Dr. Mundo
Pool Party Dr. Mundo Splash Art Pool Party Dr. Mundo Model
Category: Regular
Price: 975 RP
Concept: Dr. Mundo wearing his favourite Hawaiian shirt and straw hat with his trusty ukulele.
Model: New model for Dr. Mundo and his cleaver.
Particles: New particles for Infected Cleaver and Burning Agony.
Animations: New recall animation.
Sounds: New sounds for his auto-attack, Infected Cleaver and recall.
Splash Art: A clear sky, fresh water and some palm trees make up the setting for this piece. There seems to be a strange fog as the trees don’t seem to be so far away. Regardless, there’s some context to the action. The champions all share the spotlight and, fortunately, they all have a place; even Pix. It could be said that some seem more important than others but the feeling of fun is easy to perceive. What isn’t so clear is how the personality of each champion is reflected in their actions. In fact, the actions performed seem to be rather pedestrian and lack the unique colour that is natural to each of them. Specifically, Zac is just standing, Lulu and Mundo merely float away and Rek’Sai and Draven perform a stunt. Therefore, none of them do something that is unequivocally identified as part of their personality.
This all doesn’t mean that the piece is bad: the idea is clearly exposed and as far as a pool or beach party is concerned the message is conveyed. It’s just a pity that Zac can’t be more elastic, Draven more egocentric, Rek’Sai more alien, Lulu more mischievous and Mundo more nutty. In the end, it’s a splash art that manages a balance between the champions and places them in context but without showing enough of what makes each of them unique.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: Knowing the Madman’s personality a funny skin would be a reasonable fit. However, Pool Party Mundo doesn’t exploit the Doctor’s lack of sanity as it could. Firstly, Mundo is dressed in new, reasonable clothing that could precede the madness to come, but said madness never arrives. That’s because the skin is actually little more than a change of clothes and even his classic body takes up much of what is visible. There are a couple new particles but they are frail and contribute little to the theme. The auto-attack sounds are more noticeable but they can’t, on their own, define the skin’s identity. Only the recall does manage to convey some of the craziness that one expects from Mundo and it still feels brief and too familiar.
This results in Pool Party Mundo being an underdeveloped skin. The stage is set for something memorable but the actor mostly stands still being himself. There’s little that is unique to the skin and what can be found doesn’t do much to develop the theme. Therefore, Pool Party Mundo isn’t much more than a re-model, a change of clothes actually, at a price that is a bit too high for what it offers. It leaves the sour taste of a wasted opportunity.

El Macho Mundo
El Macho Mundo Splash Art El Macho Mundo Model
Category: Regular
Price: 1350 RP
Concept: Mundo as a demented luchador.
Model: New model for Mundo and new rotating model for his cleaver: bat, chair, belt and ringside bell.
Particles: New particles for Infected Cleaver, Burning Agony, Masochism, Sadism and auto-attack.
Animations: New animated biceps straps and new recall animation.
Sounds: New sounds for Infected Cleaver, auto-attack and recall.
Splash Art: If we are to take something out of the bleak background it might be El Tigre Braum’s cameo. The rest is a blurry audience with little in regards for detail; even more so about the arena itself. The ring is, at least, clearly delineated by the diffuse ropes and mat. The only thing that’s actually clear is the three wrestlers fighting it out.
More than an actual fight it seems like a chaotic situation, perhaps set up for sheer dramatic effect. There isn’t a clear connection between them, it can’t be established who’s fighting who and who’s intervening on whose behalf. They are simply three fighters attacking someone or something. Also, the brown-based colour palette makes them look homogenous and prevents what should be colourful outfits and a varied display from standing out. Said colours are bright and lines are sharp though. The use of light and shade is superb and either of the combatants catches the eye with the quality of their portrayals. The flying tickets seem pointless and the blur on Volibear’s hands doesn’t help convey motion; the streaks of lightning do a better job at that as well as being rather eye-catching. There’s also not enough of Volibear shown and his appearance is the most partial of them all. Gnar gets centre stage but his fury would’ve welcomed an insinuation of his Mega-Gnar aspect. Finally, Mundo’s diving elbow drop is a fine reference to his recall’s homage. However, he’s the one most evidently lacking in colour variety.
Overall, this is a splash art with a good idea behind: joining three wrestlers on the right. Sadly, they aren’t distributed, presented and linked effectively. The background is also lacking and ends up giving only a basic context for the action. Not more is actually needed but the cameo shows that there’s potential for more. The raw quality of the depictions manages to make the splash art attractive but the real problem is on the conception of the piece.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: While the new model isn’t that explicit about the concept at hand the rest of the modifications do convey the wrestling theme. As far as luchadores go Mundo doesn’t fit the traditional aspect. He wears a tiny mask on his face, has long, blonde hair and dark skin without a flashy outfit or mask to deliver the idea. Actually, his clothing is the least significant of the additions. Given such a base the rest of the skin’s modifications have to work hard to communicate the skin’s message and, fortunately, they manage to say something. The rotating hand-weapon that replaces his beloved cleaver is a fantastic choice that instils the skin with a unique identity.
Particles tend to be on the weak side with Infected Cleaver effectively relying on the new weapon models entirely. The new, appropriate sounds added to each weapon help make the ability and auto-attacks special but it’s business as usual, in a way. Burning Agony looks rather eye-catching with the golden gloves circling around Mundo while both Masochism and Sadism are merely adapted; except for the El Macho Mundo face briefly appearing at Sadism’s start. The new recall begins as just another display of power from an unhinged mind but ends with a tribute to Macho Man Randy Savage as the diving elbow drop demonstrates; even if it lands nowhere.
All things considered, El Macho Mundo is a pastiche of wrestlers that doesn’t manage to define a clear identity for Mundo. There aren’t any relevant elements from luchadores and so the appearance can feel generic. The rotating hand-weapon is without a doubt the most significant feature. It’s a characteristic that sets the skin apart and infuses it with something exclusive; at least for now. The result isn’t as cohesive as it should be yet that doesn’t prevent it from being a skin with some attractive qualities that are worth considering.

Frozen Prince Mundo
Frozen Prince Mundo Splash Art Frozen Prince Mundo Model
Category: Legacy
Price: 1350 RP
Concept: Dr. Mundo as a prince cursed in ice.
Model: New model for Dr. Mundo and his cleaver plus new glow for the ice shard on his back.
Particles: New particles for his abilities, auto-attack and recall.
Animations: New recall animation.
Sounds: New sounds for his abilities, auto-attack and recall.
Splash Art: A palace were a ball seems to be taking place. There’s a pianist on the right while on the left we find Princess and Prince together but, something is amiss: everyone seems turned to ice. Who’s that figure laughing through the window? Is he responsible for this curse to have befallen our once handsome prince? Will he ever look, will they ever look like they once did, like the picture on the wall shows? If a fairy tale was the idea then the setting delivers. It’s a pity that with some much to tell the background is so diffuse and ice looks like plastic.
In the middle of this sad scene we find Prince Mundo, a shadow of his former self. His brutish features make for a contrast against the richness of this clothing. It’s a richness that is dulled out for the most part due to the strong shadows. We can only really appreciate it in the areas directly under the light and they still look sketchy. Far from giving his brutish look a rough touch it simply prevents the royal aspect from showing all of its appeal. Additionally, there’s little hint of him being frozen or cursed; he just looks like we see without any magical touch. The use of light and shadow also seems too direct making the front of Mundo dim and uninteresting despite being the area that is right before the viewer. There are some good shadows as the gloves show but it’s the exception.
Overall, this is a splash art with a great context but a background that isn’t allowed to shine and a portrayal that looks sketchy and ill served by the choice of light sources. In spite of these problems, it’s a good presentation card but it’s clear that the approach taken hardly does the piece any favours.
Rating: Star clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZeroStar clip art used in skin reviews at StrategyZero
Conclusion: More monochromatic and plain that the splash art, despite the piece’s issues, Frozen Prince Mundo may look more frozen but certainly not as expressive. His simple frown merely echoes the classic face and while there are differences the colour ends up being the most significant. The new clothes are the real highlight. Aristocratic and martial they are a good fit for the sabre giving Mundo the feel of a Prince which has some battle experience. The sabre does look rather wide and short but suitable for the cartoony approach. The ice shard on the back is rather subtle as the sole reference to a cursed Prince and one without meaning without a supportive narrative.
Particles are all about ice and all very direct. No matter how Mundo attacks he does it with the support of ice but that support is variable. There’s no doubt that Burning Agony is an eloquent example of the ice magic at his disposal. Infected Cleaver less so but still clear enough. This decrease in clarity goes with the simple glows of Masochism and the barely visible snowflakes and dominant golden glow of Sadism. For an ultimate, even if the healing gold is understandable, it’s disappointing to see the theme so diluted.
Sounds are mostly frosty crunchings and some icy tones which are a good support for the visuals but somewhat conventional. Burning Agony’s gusts of wind and Masochism’s chilling howls are the most interesting sounds. Sadism, again, disappoints with crystalline sounds that barely hint at ice.
The recall sees Mundo removing and breaking the ice shard from his back and something seems like it’s going to happen but nothing does. Mundo is as confused as the player would be as the recall doesn’t provide the narrative as to why the ice shard is relevant. It hints at something important but just that.
On the whole, Frozen Prince Mundo is a skin that gets the frosty part right, dresses Mundo royally enough but is unable to provide the fairy tale narrative it so evidently leans on. There are areas where some of the story could’ve been explored, like the recall and even some abilities, but it’s not done. While this doesn’t ruin the skin it does leave it feeling quite straightforward. Frozen Prince Mundo is mostly an ice skin for the good Doctor but it hints, as it always does, at so much more.

Conclusion

Dr. Mundo’s skins mostly centre on his brutality and lack of common sense; or even sense at all. In spite of that, there are a few interesting choices. Rageborn Mundo is a great skin as it’s not only the most elaborate but also provides a novel concept for the League of Legends. Still, it doesn’t manage to excel and while a great choice it’s not as good as it could’ve been.

Still, there isn’t much Mundo in an orc so Executioner Mundo becomes a less developed yet wildly attractive choice. Both Mundo’s nature and the skin’s theme go hand in hand but not much was done to exploit it. Nevertheless, the executioner role works great in Mundo and it makes this skin greatly recommended.

The potential of Pool Party Mundo for a crazy skin is palpable but the execution doesn’t take the bull by the horns and instead makes a weak exposition of beach lunatic. All the madness and ensuing humour one expects is nowhere to be found and we are left with, essentially, just Hawaiian clothes and a banjo. If that’s enough for you then know that it’s a bit expensive for what little it offers.

The idea of a luchador is never clear enough in El Macho Mundo and despite his unusual aspect he can feel like a generic wrestler with some missing marbles. The rotating hand-weapon is the highlight of the skin which is taken advantage of by Infected Cleaver and his auto-attacks. That may not be enough to sway someone’s interest but it’s something novel and the luchador angle is interesting. So, this is a skin worth considering.

Frozen Prince Mundo is a skin that succeeds in providing the Doctor with an icy angle. The royal part is only in the clothes and the narrative it relies on is never explored. This leaves the skin feeling quite straightforward with only hints, as many as there are, to an interesting story that is never touched. So, for an ice version of the Doctor, the skin works but it’s not all that the skin could be.

Finally, the legendary option. Corporate Mundo is a skin that dedicated Mundo fans will probably enjoy. The management parody is rather well done but not at a level that would make it satisfying for a legendary skin. Nonetheless, it’s an appealing option that does its theme justice even though it doesn’t impress.

  1. thx! for review

  2. Well, I thought that Toxic Dr. Mundo was a referance to The Hulk. But, who knows?

    • You could say so, as they both share a degree and a muscular green body. Regardless, it’s such a simple re-colour that it hardly works as a reference. If the skin actually incorporated further changes to better represent the Hulk it would be much better.

    • Guys I have toxic mundo’s skin if I want to sell it what price will u give me reply

      • Not sure how you plan to sell the skin. At any rate, the skin wouldn’t be worth more than its base price of 520 RP. There’re better skins at that price also so it’s, currently, not a skin with much appeal.

  3. Wow… Corporate Mundo or TPA Mundo… Difficult to choose….

    • Corporate is obviously more elaborate though for a legendary it shows its age. TPA is more casual and simple yet it fits Mundo’s personality. Nevertheless, both skins need some extra work to stand well among current skins so it’s better to choose based on personal preference.

  4. Hello Mr. Zero,

I was really wondering if I should choose TPA mundo or Rageborn Mundo. Since the TPA skins sale ends soon, i’m in quite a hurry!

    • Well, TPA is mostly Mundo with casual clothing whereas Rageborn is more of a digression which turns him into an orc warrior. We think that Rageborn is more interesting but, if you want Mundo to stay Mundo, then TPA is more conventional.

It depends on what you are looking for, if you want something different yet fitting then Rageborn. However, if you want more Mundo but in another context then TPA.

  5. Did you also check that the TPA Mundo Skin has a new critical strike animation were he headbutts? 🙂

    • We did and, as with other critical strike animations, it’s shared between all skins; including the classic one. Sometimes skins do add a new critical strike animation, like Sultan Tryndamere, but that seems to be the exception rather than the rule.

  6. Review needs an update because the splash arts have been updated

    • We are aware, there are over a hundred updated splash arts, in fact. Given the extention of the update we are progressively updating everything. It’ll take a while but it’ll be completed eventually.

  7. Corporate Mundo it is really good, I love the jokes he makes and his Q is great

    • It’s a skin with charm and a visual upgrade could bring Corporate Mundo to modern standards. Currently, it shows its age but it could be improved and stay as a good option for the good Doctor.

  8. So, Mundo Mundo is a harrowing skin, correct? I didn’t see it at Snowdown and I just wanted to confirm that it’s a Harrowing skin because I really want it.

  9. Corporate Mundo or pool party Mundo?

    • Between those two we think Pool Party Dr. Mundo offers enough for its price. Corporate is a skin that clearly shows its age. You may not mind if you like it as it is but it’s not at the level of current legendaries.

  10. Corporative Mundo or El Macho Mundo?

    • Depends which joke you like the most and how much you want to spend. El Macho Mundo can be bought on sale for 675 RP whereas Corporate won’t go on sale; unless Riot does something unexpected. In terms of additions they are somewhat near as Corporate shows its age and El Macho isn’t such a wonder of a skin.

Truth be told, it’s mostly a matter of what you like the most. El Macho has the advantage of being more polished because it’s newer. Still, it doesn’t offer much more so both are more similar than they should be.

  11. Pool Party Mundo also has a new sound for his Q when it hits something.

  12. (Answering last comment on Skarner SR: She said yes 🙂 )
Due to a newer Visual Effect Update, Corporate Mundo got a new sadism particle.

By the ways, I love how happy he is in Pool Party, Ukulele is ridiculously strong when swiping but broke in recall make me laughing.

    • Congratulations, best of wishes.

It could be that the good Doctor is happy in Pool Party or it could be a deranged smirk given by his complete lack of sanity. Better think the former, it’s nicer under the Sun.

With respect to Corporate Mundo, you are right. They are somewhat subtle as they are done in the same colour as the rest of the ability. There’re also a few papers floating in Burning Agony, even more subtle. Still, something to note, thanks.
